EU and BMZ/GIZ funded project implementing an integrated approach to climate change adaptation in Nigeria's rice production systems.
The InACC project — "Integrated approach to climate change in the rice production system in Nigeria" — was jointly financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and GIZ as part of the Special Initiative ONE WORLD - No Hunger and the Global Programme Green Innovation Centre for the Agriculture and Food Sector, Nigeria (GIAE NG).
The project implements climate-smart rice production technologies, builds farmer resilience, and strengthens the national rice sector's capacity to adapt to climate change.
